The University of Virginia women’s swimming program has established a modern dynasty, becoming only the third program in NCAA Division I history to win five consecutive national titles (2021–2025). Under the "new-school" leadership of head coach Todd DeSorbo, the Cavaliers have redefined collegiate dominance, routinely winning championships by triple-digit margins and holding 12 of 19 current NCAA records. The program is defined by a culture of elite versatility and "maintenance of excellence," producing a consistent roster of Olympians and world-record holders who have turned UVA into the premier destination for world-class aquatic talent.
