In a strategic move to redefine how rising companies share their stories, event management innovator Sway has officially partnered with TheZealot, an AI-first media company. The new collaboration, confirmed by both CEOs, will leverage TheZealot’s proprietary AI journalist and content platform to solve one of the most persistent challenges for founders: the lack of time to broadcast their own journey.
Sway, which specializes in creating impactful in-person experiences, is now TheZealot’s newest client. The partnership aims to automate and scale the process of sharing Sway’s mission and the entrepreneurial path of its founder, Adam Goldstein.
"Sway and TheZealot have partnered up to help increase visibility to Sway's founder Adam and his journey as an entrepreneur, as well as share learnings from the experience," Goldstein confirmed in an interview. He added that the goal is also to "share stories about what Sway is building, how it helps people, and how we plan to revolutionize the next stage of in-person communications and experiences."
For many founders, the relentless demand of building a business leaves little room for strategic communication and public relations. This is the core problem TheZealot aims to solve for clients like Sway.
Tyler Trephan, Founder and CEO of TheZealot, explained that time is the most critical constraint for any startup. "Adam has limited time to as a human get this thing off the ground and get it running," Trephan said. "One of the challenges he finds is basically broadcasting Sway's journey along the way. This responsibility falls all on him as of now, and he is hoping that TheZealot can come along and make that process much easier and much less time intensive."
Goldstein’s long-term vision for the partnership is clear and ambitious: to "help us standardize and automate the PR experience both for our leadership and our company." By offloading the narrative creation to TheZealot’s AI, Goldstein can focus on scaling Sway’s event management and experience solutions.
TheZealot’s unique approach is what attracted Sway to the platform. Trephan detailed the technology that will be put to work telling Sway's story.
"Our MVP offering is distributed asynchronous interviews that are conducted by AI journalist agents," he explained. "These interviews are then fed into our downstream AI writer that writes professional articles as you would find on any news website or outlet."
This process provides several key advantages for Sway:
"Sway sees that this technology can be used to help professionally tell their story and share it with the public," Trephan noted.
The collaboration was sparked by a shared background and a moment of mutual inspiration. Both Goldstein and Trephan are alumni of Lehigh University, and their professional paths crossed during a recent alumni tech panel where Goldstein served as moderator.
Goldstein recalled being impressed by Trephan's vision for TheZealot. "Learning about what Tyler is doing and how he's thinking about building a business to help entrepreneurs, artists, and athletes share their stories and get more consistently in front of their audiences was really inspiring," he said.
That initial meeting, combined with their common alma mater, sealed the deal. "The fact that we also have the shared connection through Lehigh was even more reason for me to give working with him a shot," Goldstein stated. "A really good opportunity for us to try something out and for me to support a Lehigh entrepreneur."
For TheZealot, Sway represents an ideal partner. "We see entrepreneurs as an undercovered group in our society, but also a very time-poor group," Trephan said. "We are hoping by leveraging our proprietary technology here at TheZealot, we can come along Sway and other entrepreneurs to support them in their journey and help get their story captured and shared for the wider public audience."
