This Privacy Policy explains what TheZealot (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, why, and what we do with it. TheZealot turns the videos parents film at wrestling events into finished match videos.
TheZealot is operated by NovaSage, Inc.
We collect only what we need to make and deliver your videos.
Your name, email address and sign-in details.
The videos you upload, and the details you add to them: the wrestlers’ names, their teams, the weight class and the score. A video file also records when and on what device it was filmed, and some phones add where. The original you upload keeps what your phone recorded, and the event’s organizer and your wrestler’s team receive that original. Every video we make from it has that information removed.
The email address or mobile number where we send your video, and what you bought. If you agree to receive text messages, we also keep that agreement; see Text Messages. Stripe handles your card, and we never see or store your full card number.
Event details, team names and logos, and team lists if an organizer chooses to give us one.
The pages you visit and when, your IP address, and your device and browser type.
We use this information to:
Make your match videos and send them to you
Teach our software to see what happens in a match, like a takedown or the clock, from the videos and the moments families tap
Take payments, and pay organizers and teams their share
Keep TheZealot secure and working
Meet our legal obligations
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use your information to target advertising, and we don’t show your videos as examples of TheZealot unless you say yes.
We never use your videos to recognize who is in them or for face recognition, and beyond what the Sharing section lists, we don’t give, sell or license them to anyone unless you say yes.
Most of the athletes in these videos are children. Their parents and families film and upload the videos. We ask the adult who buys a video for their own contact details.
We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 directly. Accounts are for adults. A wrestler’s name, team, weight class and the videos of them come from a parent or guardian, or from the event’s organizer. A parent or guardian can see what we hold about their child, or ask us to remove it, by emailing support@thezealot.ai.
We share personal data only:
With the event’s organizer and the wrestler’s team, who receive copies of the videos uploaded at their event, and inside the event’s other videos as the release says: the host’s, the teams’, and other families’ videos of the same match
With the companies that help us run TheZealot, such as hosting and payments (see the Subprocessors section of our Data Processing Agreement)
When the law requires it
Every company we share with is bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
If you give us a mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use that number only to send you messages about your order. We do not share or sell mobile numbers, or text-message opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider processes your number only to deliver our messages. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.
We keep personal data only as long as we need it to provide the service, keep it secure, and meet legal requirements.
We protect data with:

Data may be processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate. Where required, we put safeguards in place for those transfers.
We use a few cookies to keep you signed in and to keep TheZealot secure. We use PostHog to see how our public pages are used; it never receives your video, the names on a package, your contact details or a video link, and it does not keep your IP address.
We do not use advertising cookies.

If you connected a social media account to TheZealot in the past, you can ask us to delete everything about it on our Data Deletion Request page. We process valid deletion requests within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates are posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
