These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the rules for using TheZealot.
TheZealot is operated by NovaSage, Inc. (“TheZealot”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By using TheZealot, you agree to these Terms.
TheZealot turns the videos parents film at wrestling events into finished match videos, with the names, the score and the event’s logo on screen.
An organizer sets up an event and puts up a poster with a QR code. A parent scans it, uploads a match, watches it with the names and score on screen, and can buy the finished video.
Organizers and teams use TheZealot for free. Families pay only for the videos they choose to keep.
Some parts of TheZealot need an account. You are responsible for:
Keeping your sign-in details private
Everything done under your account
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
Accounts are for adults: parents, guardians, coaches and organizers. You must be 18 or older to hold one. A wrestler’s name and details come from a parent or guardian, or from the event’s organizer.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, TheZealot sends messages about your order, such as when your video preview is ready and when your finished video is delivered: up to 2 messages per order. You don’t have to agree to text messages to place an order; we can email you instead. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or reach us at the address in the Contact section. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your mobile number.
When you set up an event, you give us its details, its teams, their logos and, if you choose, their team lists. You must have the right to share what you give us.
By setting up an event, you agree that your organization’s name and logo may appear on the videos made at that event.
A team does not have to give us a team list. Families can add their own wrestler instead.
Using TheZealot is free for organizers and teams. The event’s organizer receives a share of the videos families buy at the event; the share, and when and how we pay it, are shown on your workspace’s Payouts page.
You keep ownership of the videos you upload.
When you upload a video, you give:
TheZealot permission to store it and to make finished videos from it
The event’s organizer a copy, and permission to use it in the event’s own videos and to publish those on the organizer’s own channels
Your wrestler’s team a copy
Only upload videos you filmed yourself or have the right to share.
The release you agree to when you make a video, on the screen that asks where to send it, says: “Your video can be used in other videos from this event: the host's, the teams', and other families' videos of the same match, which they may post on their channels.”
You also let us use your video and the details you add to run, test and improve TheZealot, including teaching our software to see what happens in a match, like a takedown or the clock, from the video and the moments you tapped. We never use your videos to recognize who is in them, and we never use face recognition. Beyond the people the release names and the companies that run TheZealot for us, we don’t give, sell or license your video to anyone unless you say yes or the law requires it, and we don’t use it to advertise TheZealot unless you say yes.
Most of the athletes in these videos are children. The videos are filmed by their own parents and families, not by us.
If you’re a parent or guardian and want a video of your child taken down, email support@thezealot.ai with the link, or with the event and your child’s name. We’ll promptly remove it from our links and our copies, including the event’s other videos we made from it, and ask the event’s organizer and the team to delete theirs.
You see the price before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.
You watch the preview before you pay. If something is wrong with your finished video, or you were charged twice, email support@thezealot.ai and we’ll make it right, including a refund.
TheZealot’s software, designs and on-screen graphics are owned by NovaSage, Inc. These Terms do not give you ownership of them.
You may save the finished videos you buy and share them.
You agree not to:
Upload a video you do not have the right to share
Use TheZealot to harass, embarrass or harm anyone, including an athlete
Use TheZealot for anything unlawful
Interfere with how TheZealot works, or try to reach systems or data that are not yours
We may remove a video or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
We rely on other companies to run parts of TheZealot, such as hosting and payments (see the Subprocessors section of our Data Processing Agreement). We are not responsible for services outside our control.
When you share a video on another site, that site’s own terms apply.
We work to keep TheZealot running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features.
TheZealot is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaSage, Inc. from claims arising out of:
Your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
A video or other material you give us
You may stop using TheZealot at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
Videos you have already saved or shared stay wherever you put them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Using TheZealot after an update means you accept it.
